Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child one of Richard McCormick. She was the home of her mother and also mother to her children. She has three older brothers: Michael Dennis and Kevin. McCormick was a gifted singer and performer from a young age. She put on shows with puppets for the neighbors. After winning her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of 6 years old, Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see if McCormick wanted to get into the entertainment industry. McCormick was commissioned to perform in her first major performance in 1964 on an tv commercial featuring Mattels latest doll Baby Pattaburp. A year later she was a guest on the firm's Chatty Cathy Doll and was immediately chosen to play the La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp And ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was one of 1200 children to play the eldest daughter to be a part of The Brady Bunch. The sitcom featured Florence Henderson and Robert Reed who were newlyweds with the same family as a blended one. It lasted five years. McCormick's memoir Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was released in 2008. In it she revealed that McCormick was close to losing her virginity on sets of the show in the fifth season, when she was a victim to Barry Williams. He was just 19. She was 16. She said that it would have been feasible, but we never had the right timing.
